The only mint marks on a 1952 dime would be an "S" for San Francisco and a "D" for Denver. Please examine the mint mark on your coin again since some are not stamped clearly or have some sort of damage from being in circulation.

The 1952 Dodge truck most likely came with a 6-volt electrical system as that was common during that era. However, some trucks may have been converted to 12-volt systems later on for better performance and reliability. It's best to check the vehicle's current setup to be sure.

You are asking about a Half Penny (KM#882) from Great Britain. It is bronze and measures 25.5mm in diameter. The front bears a portrait of King George VI (facing left), with the words "GEORGIVS VI D:G:BR:OMN:REX FIDEI DEF" (abbreviated Latin for "George the Sixth, by the Grace of God, King of All Britons and Defender of the Faith") around it. The back has an image of the three-masted sailing ship "The Golden Hind", with the words "HALF PENNY" above and the year "1952" below. 33,278,000 such coins were produced in 1952, the last year of the King's reign (although he died on February 6, 1952, British coins continued to be produced with his portrait through the end of 1952, as is traditional when a monarch dies).

According to the Standard Catalog of World Coins, an example is worth about US$0.10 in Fine condition, US$0.25 in Very Fine condition, US$1.00 in Extremely Fine condition, and US$10.00 in Uncirculated condition. A few were also produced in Proof condition for collectors; these are valued at about US$850.00 each.

This isn't a US Postage stamp, but a charity label. It was probably sent out in a mass mailing requesting people to send donations. And by putting them on the back of other envelopes, they would get advertising.

It's worth 50 cents in Canada.

It's may have been plated for use in jewelry, or more likely was used in a high-school chemistry experiment. I forget the details but there's a compound (NaOH2 ?) that reacts with copper to turn it a goldish color.

Either way it's not worth anything as a rarity but it makes an interesting conversation piece.

The New York City Board of Education issued dog tags to public school children in the early 1950's. I was one of the recipients. I don't know if they also issued them to parochial school children. We also had to duck under our wooden desks and put our arms over our heads as part of atomic bomb protection drills. This was called duck and cover.
